The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services requires us to conduct a criminal background check on every job applicant. In Texas, information about an applicant's date of birth and social security number is required in order to check the applicant's background. Applicants for employment must agree to a criminal background check as part of the application process. Applicants that pass the criminal background check must also pass a pre-employment drug test.
